The blasting of the cableway installations took place in two parts. Partly in the blasting chamber and partly in the field.
PART 1: Sandblasting of dismantled chairlift support elements in a dedicated blasting chamber. Weld examination (ultrasound / X-ray). Powder coating of UV resistant paint according to RAL.
PART 2: Field blasting of welds on the drive wheels of entry and exit stations and 22 support columns. Work at height with suitably qualified staff. Sandblasting with environmentally friendly blasting media.
